At Ironside, our greatest inspiration comes from the sights and smells of America’s wild places, whether it’s the dry, creosote-heavy depth of the southwestern desert, the freshness of the northern forests after rain, or the exotic florals that bloom in the deep southern heat. We are enamored with the beauty of these distinct regional terrains and constantly chasing what nature has already perfected.
By using exclusively plant-based ingredients, we can draw upon the actual landscape of fragrances that surrounds a particular place, region, or season in life, honoring the spaces that matter most to you.
Scent holds our strongest link to emotion and memory and, through a custom fragrance, we hope to bottle a little of that magic and take you back to a place you love.
Developing a Custom Fragrance
To develop your unique fragrance, we’ll ask a series of questions designed to evoke specific memories or moods. We encourage you to think about how you’d like to feel when you are wearing it — maybe it’s energized and engaged, relaxed and calm, or dark and moody. Do you want to invoke a feeling of wanderlust and travel, or sense of comfort and home? Fragrance has the power to do all of the above, and we’re committed to honing in on exactly what inspires you.
Your responses will shape the fragrance blending process entirely. We’ll develop and test a number of individualized recipes, narrowing them down to a series of three similar, but slightly different, options. You’ll receive a sample set to test and experiment with, along with a second brief questionnaire to provide feedback on your samples. From there, your final fragrance will be developed, bottled, and shared exclusively with you.
